The Medical Center at Scottsville's roots date back to 1952 when the Allen County War Memorial Hospital served the residents of Scottsville, Ky. and surrounding communities. Today, Allen countians still rely on The Medical Center at Scottsville for the healthcare services they need to stay close to home including diagnostic imaging services, physician specialty clinics, and comprehensive rehabilitation services. A group of family practice physicians and nurse practitioner provide primary care at the Scottsville Rural Health Clinic. Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care, a 110-bed long term care facility, is also located on The Medical Center at Scottsville campus.
The Medical Center at Scottsville is a sister hospital to The Medical Center at Bowling Green, the flagship hospital for Commonwealth Health Corporation. As a not-for-profit healthcare provider, all of the revenue generating activities of our system are conducted solely for reinvestment in the hospital and the communities we serve.
